We're a mother/daughter polymer clay artist team, creating jewelry and artifacts in this amazing medium. Charline (mom) has a degree in technical theater (set and costume design concentrations) and Tyra has a degree in graphic art (computer graphics) with a fine arts minor (oils, acrylics, pastels, and sculpture). Charline also has a degree in English and extensive experience in editing, so she'll be reviewing our posts for errors -- poor Tyra inherited her mom's math gene and her dad's spelling and grammar genes (a really BAD) combination. Luckily, she inherited the entire family's creative genes (grandmothers were a clothing designer and artist in oils, respectively, paternal grandfather a master carpenter, and dad works in metals, wood, and stained glass).
60+ year old wife and mother, technical writer, 23 year old daughter, graphic artist. We love our family (immediate and extended) and mom's ex-students. Our favorites include: asparagus, turkey, shashimi and sushi, most veggies (except eggplant -- mom gets projectile vomiting), and most meats, except eel (mom) and octopus (Tyra).
